Rajat Patidar, the captain of Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), has rejoined the team's camp as they prepare for the Indian Premier League (IPL) resumption on May 17 against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). His return is a significant boost for RCB fans, especially after concerns arose that he might miss the rest of IPL 2025 due to a finger injury sustained during a match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK) on May 3.
According to reports, he was advised to wear a splint to protect his injured finger and to refrain from training for at least ten days before reassessing the situation. The IPL 2025 season had been temporarily halted due to escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
RCB's official social media account shared a photo of Rajat alongside Jitesh, stating, "Captain Rajat and his partner-in-crime Jitesh are back at base, ready to light up the remainder of #IPL2025 with the same swag, same intent, and more fire! Let’s wish them the best in the comments, 12th Man Army!"
